Jaycee Chan says that his father suffers from OCD and ADHD
7 Oct – Singer-actor Jaycee Chan recently revealed that his father, Jackie Chan has Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Mysophobia (the fear of germs and contamination).
As reported on HK Channel website, Jaycee, who appeared as one of the guests on mainland China's talk show, "Super Interview", stated that some of his father's condition has also been passed on to him.
"My father likes to use hand gestures a lot due to his illnesses and I inherited a little bit of that. But I can control it better depending on the situation."
However, the 30-year-old denied having Mysophobia like his father, and disclosed that the "CZ12" actor's obsession with cleanliness is even more extreme by recalling how the action superstar once scrubbed his friend's toilet when they visited for dinner.
When asked about his own issues, Jaycee revealed, "Anything involving my computer has to be perfect and organised, including the interface. Every file has its own specialised folder. Whenever I see a messy desktop, I really want to detonate a bomb. I just can't stand a disorganised computer!"
However, the same thing cannot be said about his wardrobe, which he himself admitted to be messy. But Jaycee stated that his father knows nothing about his wardrobe clutter and can't do anything even if he finds out, since it can only be unlocked by Jaycee's fingerprints.
