Janella Salvador and Markus Paterson: No wedding plans
7 Jan– Despite already having a baby with boyfriend Markus Paterson, Janella Salvador recently stated that the two of them are in no hurry to tie the knot.
As reported on ABS-CBN, the actress, who spoke to the media after announcing that she and Paterson have welcomed a child, stated that their focus at the moment is raising their son Jude together.
"Markus has been really helpful as a father and a partner. He was there for me to support me when I would have meltdowns. It wasn't easy. He also became my arms and legs especially during the last few stages of the pregnancy. He had no complaints. He would do anything for me. I couldn't ask for more," she said.
As to why she and Paterson kept the pregnancy and birth a secret, Salvador denied the notion that it was for selfish reasons, saying that she just wanted to cherish motherhood without any noise.
On the other hand, Paterson is elated over the support they received after releasing their video announcement on YouTube.
"Thank you for getting to know Jude, thank you for loving him. Also thank you for the understanding. Seriously, we did not really expect that reaction but I guess it was really the perfect time that was also planned for a long time. We're just happy that the video is good, the introduction is good. I can't wait for Jude to watch it and appreciate it because I know he will, hopefully."
