James Reid is proud of Liza Soberano
8 Sep – James Reid recently admitted that he is proud of Liza Soberano's achievement just a few months after they started developing her career in Hollywood.
As reported on ABS-CBN, the singer, who also manages Liza's career through his company, Careless Music, stated his belief that the actress will one day make history as a Filipina actress.
"All we did was open the right doors but it was really Liza that landed the role," he said, about the actress' first project, the Zelda Williams' "Lisa Frankenstein". "She sent in audition tapes. They got her. She was up against some other very talented actors but she landed the role."
As for himself, James said that he can't imagine himself resuming his acting career right now, as he still wants to achieve a lot more in his music.
"I'm putting all the efforts into acting into Liza... I know it must be very confusing, what we're doing. But I just have to say, wait and see. But we are making a lot of new friends in both LA and South Korea. Building relationships," he said.
