Jacky Cheung says Malaysia concert is unforgettable because of his Meniere's Disease

19 Oct - Of all the concert stops that he had for the past few months, Jacky Cheung admitted that his Malaysia shows were the most unforgettable due to the incident that occurred, no thanks to his Meniere's Disease.

As reported on Mingpao, the singer, who is set to perform in Hong Kong this December, recalled the incident, in which he fell down while performing in Malaysia after experiencing a dizzy spell because of his condition.

"I feel dizzy just thinking about it. I hope I can overcome it as soon as possible. Everybody knows that this ear imbalance has been an existing problem for me, but I had never experienced it on stage before. It was my first time," he said.

When mentioned that he still sang his best despite the incident, Jacky smiled and said, "I have an imbalance in my ears, but my singing voice is fine."

Asked if he is not worried that it would happen again at his upcoming Hong Kong concert, Jacky stated that the symptom occurred only once a year before, and in recent years, only once every three to four years.

The "Jacky Cheung 60+ Tour Concert Hong Kong" will be held at the Hong Kong Coliseum from 13-14, 16-17, 19-20, 22-23, 25-26 December 2023.
