Instagram model denies affair with Michael Lai

4 Sep – Instagram celebrity Zhao Ningning has recently dismissed allegations that she is having an affair with Gillian Chung's husband Michael Lai.

As reported on Sohu, the model recently released a six-point response statement addressing the accusations of their supposed romance via her manager Liao Baojun, saying that she doesn't know Michael and that he only looked at her Instagram the day before.

"We have not sent messages to each other privately, nor have I ever contacted him. I have not said a word. This news has caused me serious harm. I am currently single and hope to have my own family and children in the future."

Zhao also pleaded for netizens not to attack her personally and that she has retained the right to pursue legal action.

The social media influencer also took to Instagram to express her thoughts about the rumours, saying, "The internet is really scary. Because of one photo, I was dragged into the news. I don't even know the man in the news report. Please do not believe this."
