Last week, we asked you to vote for India's biggest male superstar. Thank you for your overwhelming response.

There are several parameters on the basis of which an actor's superstardom could be determined. But among the most significant are popularity, the amount of money the films make, social media following and the general influence over the masses and the industry.

This week, we list out 20 women actors who have acquired superstar status. These have been picked from across the country, including Bollywood and the South Indian cinema.

The pandemic, now almost two years in the running, has derailed several film projects of these stars. So we are not picking these names basis recent films. We ask you to vote on the basis of whether these ladies have the star-power enough to pull you to a theatre to watch their films.
