Heather Rae El Moussa Just Gave Bre Tiesi the Best Compliment
Heather Rae El Moussa can't stop doling out the compliments for her former Selling Sunset co-stars. The current star of The Flipping El Moussas recently gave an exclusive interview in which she continuously talked up Bre Tiesi, the model-turned-realtor who joined the Oppenheim Group during season six of the dramatic, binge-worthy Netflix show. The Netflix alum described Tiesi as "a strong woman" who knows how to handle herself. "I'm not worried about her," El Moussa said. "She does incredible on the show. I'm very proud of her."
In the interview, El Moussa says she's friends with every woman on the show, but added that she's close with Tiesi, and watched the latest season mainly for her. "I wanted to see how she did," she explained. While El Moussa's friends generally kept her in the loop about what was going on during filming, she was not there to witness it all herself. Now, having seen how the season seven drama played out, she called the details of the show "very shocking."
The HGTV star knows firsthand that being in such a high-stakes environment with multiple other powerful colleagues around you can be tense—especially when fans are analyzing your every move. "TV is hard and when you're living your life on TV, you're being criticized by a bunch of fans and there's a lot that goes on behind the scenes that doesn't make the show," El Moussa explained. "There are a lot of different stories, it's our real life, and because the audience is seeing a small portion of that, it can be very hard and very challenging and very stressful." Perhaps El Moussa is so generous with compliments for her friends because she knows how difficult the constant scrutiny can be; it may be her way, as a Selling Sunset alum, to support the women who continue to thrive throughout the seasons.
Though she left Selling Sunset because of her pregnancy with baby Tristan Jay, El Moussa continues to highlight the current stars of the show, mostly on Instagram. She featured Tiesi in a reel that perfectly encapsulated their "main character energy." And before the season seven reunion episode, El Moussa shared her support in a comment on Chrishell Stause's self-love post. Even if she tried, at this point, there's no way El Moussa could hide the fact that she's a loyal friend and a girl's girl—and we love her for it!
