Hattan and M. Nasir to unite in "Sifu dan Aku" concert
21 Dec - Mentor and protege, Dato' M. Nasir and Dato' Hattan couldn't wait for their upcoming collaboration, the "Sifu dan Aku" concert, which will be held in Borneo.
The two stars will be performing at the Sabah International Convention Centre in Kota Kinabalu on 3 February, the first for both singers who have been in the industry for more than three decades.
Speaking about the concert, M. Nasir stated that the concert will be a challenging one for him, as both he and Hattan have known each other for a long time.
"He showed his talents after singing my songs, and I regard him as a 'nephew' in the recording world," he said.
As for Hattan, real name Mohd Shukri Shahabudin, the former FRU member wants the concert to be a great memory in his singing career, as M Nasir has always been his mentor in music.
"It would be a loss not to come because it is a story of how I came to know M Nasir until now," he said.
