Gregory Wong not worried new law will jeopardise case

10 Jul – Gregory Wong is not at all concerned that the implementation of the Hong Kong national security law will jeopardise his case, which is currently still ongoing.

As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who spoke to the media while helping out at good friend Halina Tam's snack shop, stated that he was proud of his fellow Hong Kong citizens, who still came out to protest despite it being much riskier with the implementation of the new law.

When mentioned that his court case involving his previous breach onto the Legislative Council during the 1 July protest of last year could be affected by the new law, Gregory smiled and said mockingly, "The scope of the Hong Kong National Security Law is as wide as the universe, so there is no need to worry too much."

"If Liverpool can win the Premier League, is there anything impossible anymore?" he added with a laugh.
