Gigi Hadid Mixed a Classic Twinset With a Gen Z Staple

While her age put her squarely in Gen Z, Gigi Hadid mashed up a classic and timeless with whimsy and fun in an outfit that brought together two very different eras. Keeping things fun and sweet, her latest New York City outing included a choker-style necklace that was laden with multiple charms. Charm bracelets and necklaces are a TikTok favorite, with so many clips singing the praises of Brooklyn Charm (which also has a location in Los Angeles) and its DIY designs. But Hadid tempered the youthfulness and playful nature of her blingy necklace with a go-to mom and grandma staple: a twinset.
The Guest in Residence creative director wore her necklace with a coordinating orange sweater set. Her boxy cardi and matching shell seemed to celebrate pumpkin spice season with their bold orange hue, which seems perfect for the vibes post-Halloween. She finished the look with a pair of straight-leg faded black jeans with a tear in one knee and chunky derbies, another item that's making headlines this season for being a must-have for anyone looking to give their wardrobes a quirky update. A Disneyland Paris baseball cap was the finishing touch, because a Disney Adult is always going to let everyone know that they're a Disney Adult.

Aside from offering up masterclasses in fall dressing, Hadid has been making headlines for her rumored relationship with actor Bradley Cooper. While some people are taken aback by their 20-year age gap, sources say that they're finding common ground because they're both parents. Most recently, they were spotted at the off-Broadway play Danny and the Deep Blue Sea starring Aubrey Plaza and Christopher Abbott.
