Established in 1856, Ghee Hiang is a brand steeped in tradition. It initially introduced the Ghee Hiang Baby Brand Pure Sesame Oil in the 1900s before diversifying into pastries production. Employing age-old traditional methods and techniques from Fujian, China, their products boast exceptional quality and distinct flavours.

Their debut in Singapore is made possible through Penang Culture, a restaurant renowned for its Penang delicacies. Soon, aficionados of Penang food will be able to find Ghee Hiang pastries at 5 Penang Culture outlets across Singapore, located at Jem, VivoCity, Nex, Changi Airport Terminal 1, and Compass One.

Ghee Hiang will offer 4 main pastry varieties in Singapore. Notable among them is the Small Tau Sar Pneah (S$13 for 16 pieces), a renowned pastry that’s a must-try in Penang. With a savoury green bean filling encased in crumbly skin, it promises a delightful taste experience.

Another signature choice is the Phong Pneah (S$11.50 for 5 pieces), known for its delicate pastry and sweet white sugar syrup filling.
