Fuiyoh! Nigel Ng announces betrothal with engagement photos
19 Mar - Bad news to all aunty-wannabes out there. It looks like Uncle Roger is soon to be married.
Malaysian comedian Nigel Ng, most known for his alter ego Uncle Roger, surprised many recently with his engagement news as he and his fiancee Sabrina shared their engagement photos on social media.
The photos were revealed to have been taken around Taipei markets by photographer Karren Kao.
"Some moments from our engagement shoot running around Taipei's markets," Sabrina posted. "Thank you, @karren_kao , for bringing our vision to life and being so supportive throughout the process (even going shopping with us to find outfits and comforting me while I cried in the bridal shop). As artist and friend, we couldn't have done it without you and your team."
Many took to the comments to congratulate Nigel, with many asking whether Jamie Oliver, Uncle Roger's nemesis, will be attending the wedding.
Others, on the other hand, joked that Uncle Roger's "ex-wife" Auntie Helen will be sad to know that he now has a new woman in his life.
Reports of Nigel already being engaged was first revealed in December, when Japanese YouTuber Kimono Mom posted the second episode of her show, "Kitchen Memories" which features Nigel and Sabrina.
She posted, "We made onigiri in his LA home and sat down with him (Nigel) and his fiancee, Sabrina, to share laughs, heartfelt moments, and even the story of his unforgettable proposal!"
