Fred Cheng has a hectic schedule for stardom this year
25 Feb – Hong Kong singer-actor Fred Cheng has been quite busy since winning "The Voice of the Stars" last year, and recently revealed that he will continue to be that way for the rest of 2014.
As reported on Oriental Daily, the actor, who accepted the award for Weibo's Trendiest Rookie recently, revealed that he will be releasing his Cantonese album in July 2014.
"I am currently working on my new studio album," said Fred, who signed to TVB's Voice Entertainment after his victory at the reality singing competition, beating out contenders such as Oscar Leung and Grace Wong.
Fred also revealed that he has recently finished filming his new TVB drama, though no broadcasting date has been confirmed.
When asked if his new working schedule overwhelms him, Fred replied, "I am not afraid of getting no sleep. I want to be busier. I want more. The more they give me, the better!"
Meanwhile, when asked to comment about the rumours saying that Wong Jing is planning to cast him in a movie adaptation of Stephen Chow's hit TV series, "The Final Combat", Fred looked surprised and said, "I don't know about this."
However, he said that if the rumours are true, he would try his best to give his all.
