One time someone called me a candle guy, as an insult. That person is now in prison. While I fully agree we need prison reform, that person can rot there while I burn my three wicks. Anyway, I'm almost over that, and have since expanded from beyond just candles. I now am a diffuser guy, and there's one brand that helped me make the switch from fire to water. Vitruvi created not just a diffuser, but the diffuser.

What makes it so great? Well for starters, it features some of the best smelling essential oils on the market. Then you have the long-lasting technology that actually works and then there's the stunning design that comes in a handful of colorways.

It doubles as decor

I really want to hone in how incredibly stylish the Stone Diffuser looks in real life, because it really is hands down one of the best looking ones on the market. It features a beautifully designed ceramic cover that rests over a simplistic shape to create a natural-looking, yet epic piece of home tech. Combine this with 12 of the trendiest and most intriguing colorways you've seen, and you have a diffuser that can double as decor in any corner of your home.

The colors range from traditional black and white, to more attention seeking choices like lavender or terracotta. My personal favorite is sea, which is a unique deep green hue and the suede, which is a light beige shade. Having the choice of color paired with the minimalistic design makes it tough to not want one for every room in your home. Not that you need it considering the diffuser can cover a massive surface area.

It goes the distance

Before owning the Vitruvi, my biggest hangup with most diffusers was that I never knew how long they were gonna last. Some can go hard for an hour or two, and then there's others that won't quit for 12. Well Vitruvi has what I think are the two perfect options: Four and eight hour settings. The four hour setting is perfect for days you just want a boost of fresh air in the daytime. And it's pretty obvious that the eight hour option is ideal for sleeping—and in my case, a full night of peppermint scented mist. When it comes to the water and oil distribution, you can set it up as you please to create how much smell you do or don't want. I like that type of customization in my life.

It offers a perfect little nightlight

There's one more little standout design detail that makes the Vitruvi Stone perfect. It has a nightlight glow that beams from the bottom of it, and what's life without a little light? It is optional though, so if it bothers you at night there's a button on the back where you can shut it off. But, I will not be turning it off. I love the soft amber glow, especially when I treat myself to some bad boy late night lavender. It’s like I get to sleep with a candle, without risking arson.

The smart design coupled with a beautiful look and the perfect line of steam makes it the sweetest and most therapeutic little scent giver out there.
