Fattah Amin defends ex-wife Fazura over viral "I don't want daddy" video

3 Feb - Fattah Amin recently defended ex-wife Nur Fazura following the viral video showing their daughter Fatima telling her that she doesn't love her daddy anymore.

The actor, who was asked about the video that had netizens blasting Fazura for supposedly trying to sow hate, stated that Fazura has done her hardest to become the best mother.

"Do not be quick to speculate. We have to be positive and say only good things because that is also a kind of prayer," he said.

At the same time, Fattah said that he won't blame netizens who might not understand the whole situation.

"I have visited Fatima, but sometimes I don't put it on social media. I am not the kind to share my personal life online," he said.

As for what Fatima said in the video, Fattah said that it was normal for a child her age to say such a thing. It is noted that his daughter is four years of age.

"We can never expect what would come out of their mouths. When I saw her a few days ago, she was fine," he said.

In the video that was shared last week, Fazura can be heard asking Fatima why she was crying earlier, to which the young child responded, "I don't want daddy... I don't love daddy anymore." Fazura then immediately responded, "Don't say that. You always love daddy, right?"
