If HGTV's summer programming hasn't caught your attention yet, it's about to: The network is turning up the heat with an unexpected new series called Flip the Strip. Starring hunky performers from the male revue stage show Australia's Thunder From Down Under, Flip the Strip promises a whole lot of eye candy and completely over-the-top renovations.

Premiering on July 10, the six-episode series follows Ben Cleary, Dan Paterson, Liam Black, and Malik Wills-Martin as they launch their home renovation business. During the hour-long episodes, the Las Vegas–based stars will work with interior designer Kelly Stone to transform their clients' homes into dazzling settings. Think next-level, casino-inspired looks with eye-catching chandeliers, creative bar setups, and risqué artwork.

"Between Ben, Malik, Liam and I, we have a ton of experience in the construction industry from our time before joining the cast of Australia's Thunder from Down Under," Paterson said in a press release. "We are here in the United States to perform, but we also want to try our hand at building a business and deliver the best possible renovations to our clients."

Paterson acts as the team's project manager, while Cleary brings his carpentry skills to the table. Black specializes in painting and finishing, and Wills-Martin is described as "a demo and 'do-it-all' ace," according to the release.

HGTV fans are torn over the steamy home renovation show announcement. The network shared a preview of it on Instagram, where many people who were into the idea left comments like "Oh dear god I need an ice bath," "HOT CONTRACTOR SUMMER🛠🔥," and "Watching it only for the plot!"

Others who weren't into the fun of it all left comments like "HGTV has lost its way" and "Need to go back to the drawing board on that concept."

Flip the Strip will air on HGTV on Monday nights at 10 p.m. ET starting on July 10, and episodes will be available to stream the same day on Max. Should you be interested in consuming other male-performer- and design-related content in the meantime, find out how the sets of Hulu's Welcome to Chippendales came to life (and watch the limited series if you haven't yet!).
