Ellen Adarna not ready for showbiz comeback
1 Sep – Ellen Adarna recently admitted that she is not yet ready to make a return to showbiz, despite having been on hiatus for a while now.
The actress, who spoke about her acting career recently, stated that she made a promise to herself upon giving birth to son Elias that she will focus on him until he is seven.
"I want to be with my son. Because we sleep next to each other. He sleeps with us. So, I'm not ready yet," she said.
The hiatus could also be extended much longer since Ellen is also planning to have another baby with husband, Derek Ramsay.
"I want to get pregnant next year... One last time, and hopefully it's a girl," she said, adding that she hopes her baby will be born in the Year of the Dragon "for good luck".
The actress was last seen on the big screen in "Moonlight Over Baler" in 2017, though her last TV work was the 2021 TV5 sitcom, "John en Ellen".
Ellen and Derek tied the knot in November 2021 after nearly a year of romance.
