Elle Fanning left the Carlyle Hotel and headed to one of the Met Gala‘s many after-parties on Monday night in New York City while wearing a pair of clear lucite block heels.
“The Great” actress, most often seen sporting classic footwear silhouettes like pumps, sandals and stilettos, usually gravitates towards shoe styles crafted in neutral tones of cream, black and brown. In January of this year, Fanning was photographed on the Golden Globe Awards red carpet in a pair of ivory pumps. The star’s shoes, designed with a sleek satin textile and pointed-toe silhouette, featured a high arch and an estimated 3-inch stiletto heel.
The 2024 Met Gala celebrated “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion” at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday in New York City. In addition to Fanning, celebrity guests included Zendaya, Emily Ratajkowski, Gigi Hadid and Lana Del Rey, among others.

Fanning’s see-through heels featured a thin elasticated front strap and a matching slingback strap around the ankle. Additionally, the shoes were elevated with an estimated 4-inch lucite block heel.
