Zhao Lusi returns to public eye following health scare
17 Jan - Although many assumed that Zhao Lusi would take a longer rest after her recent hospitalisation, fans were surprised to find out that the actress will be making an appearance at a brand event on 25 January.
The announcement came from a prominent Chinese beverage manufacturer on 15 January, for which the actress serves as a spokesperson.
The event was originally scheduled for 5 January but was postponed due to Zhao's health conditions. In December, the actress had suspended all work commitments to seek medical treatment, where she was subsequently diagnosed with anxiety and aphasia.
The upcoming event is being organised as a banquet for 100 people.
"On the evening of the event, we will work with Zhao Lusi to spread love and warmth and do great things together in 2025. Let us move forward with love," the brand announced on their social media, tagging Zhao's Weibo account.
Considering the actress's recent health challenges, the brand has taken precautionary measures by requesting attendees not to share the event's location to ensure Zhao's privacy.
