Elaine Yiu and boyfriend make first appearance together

6 Jun - Three years into their relationship, TVB actress Elaine Yiu recently made her first public appearance with her millionaire boyfriend Cheng Tsz Bong, sparking rumours that the two are soon to tie the knot.

As reported on Mingpao, the actress who made a rare appearance with Cheng at a fashion event recently, was all smiles when asked if the two of them are soon to be married.

"We are working towards this goal (marriage). But there isn't enough time this year. I have been scheduled to work until February next year. I wanted to go on a vacation with him, but even that had to be postponed," she said.

Elaine added that since marriage is between two people, the media should be asking Cheng about his plans as well.

"But what is certain is that we have a tacit understanding about it," she said.

The actress added that while she would be happy if her boyfriend pops the question, a simple proposal would suffice.

"There is no need for him to go down on one knee. It's enough to spend time together, just the two of us," she said.

Elaine also admitted that she is envious of good friend Myolie Wu, who is now expecting her first child with husband Philip Lee.

"But I want to have a child after we get married. Let's do it one step at a time," she said.
