Elaine Ng denies more problems with daughter Etta

4 May - Elaine Ng denied that there is a new problem between her and daughter Etta, which was sparked because of her latest online post.

As reported on Tencent, Elaine recently shared a couple of photos of her cat and wrote, "Looking at you getting thinner day by day, you are making mummy sad", sparking rumours that she was addressing Etta in her post.

However, when asked about it recently, Elaine said that she was actually talking about the cat in the photo, adding that she has been too busy to spend time with her pets at home.

As to whether Etta will be discharged soon, Elaine said, "She definitely will."

In regards to her relationship with Etta, Elaine said that like most mothers, it is natural to have different views with their child when they get older due to the generation gap.

"But we are learning. In fact, it is normal for parents and children to have these quarrels, not just among artistes," she added.
