Dicky Cheung didn't expect to win awards
24 Dec – Dicky Cheung recently admitted that he didn't find any reason to attend the previously held TVB Anniversary Awards, as he didn't expect to win anything.
As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who spoke to the media in TVB City recently, shared that he has never won an acting award throughout his career, and would only focus on winning his audiences' hearts.
"What is the point in going? All I wanted is to perform my best, something that I could present proudly to my viewers," he said.
Dicky added that it was already a gift to him whenever he hears people saying that they are rushing home to watch "The Learning Curve of a Warlord".
On the other hand, the actor also expressed happiness for Joe Ma, who won TV King at the ceremony earlier.
Dicky also revealed that he is planning to do more charity next year and to return to the music scene, probably holding a concert at the Hong Kong Coliseum.
