Diana Zubiri announces the birth of her third child
9 Oct – Diana Zubiri recently revealed that she has given birth to her third child and daughter, Amira Jade.
As reported on Push, the actress shared the news in her Life Update vlog on YouTube, in which she documented her pregnancy from the first test up to Amira's birth on 14 September.
The video also revealed how emotional her husband Andrew Smith was when he was unable to accompany Zubiri during the delivery because of the pandemic.
"Due to the whole COVID situation, I wasn't able to be there to see our baby born because when Diana comes back she needs to do two weeks of quarantine here in the house. So with Aliyah and King, we decided it was best that I stay with the kids for the two weeks and Diana stays with our baby for the two weeks," said Smith.
He also sang praises for Zubiri for a job well done when it comes to the third pregnancy.
"I know she was struggling a lot the last few weeks, especially the last three days has been really tough for her," he said.
Amira is the couple's second child following the birth of their daughter Aliyah Rose in 2016. Zubiri also has a son King from her first marriage.
