Dharmendra's Daughter Ahana Deol Gets Engaged
June does seem like a special month for Dharmendra and Hema's family. After their elder daughter Esha Deol, tied knot in June, 2012; this year it is the younger one who got engaged in June. Ahana Deol, who is a trained Odissi dancer, exchanged rings with beau Vaibhav Vora, a Delhi-based businessman.
Ahana and Vaibhav, had met last year only during Esha’s wedding. The two have been dating for past few months. The entire Deol family seems very happy with this match. Hema Malini, even expressed her joy to PTI, saying, “We all are very happy. Vaibhav is a very nice boy. It was a special day for us. Our blessings are with them.” The first photograph of Ahana's engagement was realeased by her sister Esha Deol, on her Twitter profile.

Previously, Ahana Deol was in news for being in a long-term relationship with actor Aditya Roy Kapur. It is said that Ahana and Aditya met during the fiming of Guzaarish (2009), where she assisted director Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
These reports were largely media speculations, as neither of them ever came forward with the truth about their relationship. Well, if media reports are anything to go by then, the young Deol beauty was also dating actor Ranveer Singh, before she met Aditya Roy Kapur.

Apart from being an Odissi dancer, Ahana has shown active interest in the fields of filmmaking and fashion designing. The film industry has for long been expecting Ahana, to make her debut into the world of silver screen, either in front of the camera or behind it. But so far, Ahana has not made any major commitments to any projects in the industry.

Ahana Deol was wearing a beautiful beige coloured Indian dress (a lehenga-sari) for her engagement, as her fiancé chose to look dapper in a formal suit. The couple got engaged in presence of close family members and friends at Hema Malini's Juhu residence. But, the couple has not yet made any decisions regarding the date of their marriage. Hema Malini says, "Both the families will sit and decide about the marriage date which should be convenient to all.”
Seems like the monsoon showers of June do bring in special and intimate moments for the Deol family. So, here is wishing Ahana and Vaibhav, all the very best!
