Derek Tsang will not make a movie for girlfriend
4 Jul - Although they have been dating for a long time, filmmaker Derek Tsang said that he has no plans to write a script for the sake of his girlfriend, Venus Wong.
As reported on Singtao Daily, the "Soul Mate" director who appeared at the premiere of the new Hong Kong movie, "Zombiology: Enjoy Yourself Tonight", shared that he would only offer a role to Venus is it's suitable for her.
"I wouldn't deliberately tailor a role for her. I would ask her to perform if the role is right for her," he added.
When asked if he would one day star in movie with her, Derek said that he would do it if it's for the right movie.
As for wedding plans, Derek stated that he is in no rush to settle down and that his parents are just relieved to see him in a stable relationship.
On the other hand, Derek stated that he also plans to work alongside father, Eric Tsang on a new movie, adding that he would support his father's dream of directing his own movie.
