Davina McCall reveals she cried as friend unveiled as The Masked Singer character

Davina McCall has revealed she cried when discovering her friend was unveiled as a character on ITV’s The Masked Singer.

The 56-year-old revealed the show spoiler in an interview on The One Show on Thursday evening (4 January).

Speaking about the moment she said: “I sobbed, I cried, I know this person very well.”

A clip from the upcoming episode was shown on screens, with the television presenter running on stage to hug the contestant.

Fellow guest Peter Jones tried to get the presenter to reveal the identity of the singer, but she remained tight-lipped.
