David Chiang says wife is free from cancer
21 Aug - Veteran Hong Kong actor David Chiang has assured that his wife and former actress Lin Lin Li is doing well now that her cancer is in remission.
As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who appeared at a drama banquet recently, addressed questions about Lin's battle with colorectal cancer, saying that she is now recovered after undergoing a series of chemotherapy.
"It was hard for her to undergo chemotherapy 13 times before. But it has been six years now, and now she is in good health. But we still went to the doctors from time to time," he said.
When asked is Lin is enjoying her life, David laughed and said that his wife has always enjoyed her life since she retired from acting.
"She likes to do volunteer work in Canada. I am the one who is still working here," he said.
