Cyndi Wang declines offer from "Sisters Who Make Waves"
2 Sep – Cyndi Wang recently admitted that she had actually been offered to join the mainland reality show, "Sisters Who Make Waves" prior to its launch.
As reported on Sina, the Taiwanese singer confirmed the rumours via her agent Zhang, who said that Cyndi did receive the invitation, but was unable to cooperate due to her busy schedule.
It is noted that Cyndi had been busy preparing for her compilation album, which is set to be released in September.
Her place was instead filled by Cindy Yen - whose popularity had since soared, with the singer receiving multiple endorsements and show offers.
The reality show, produced by Mango TV, sees a variety of female artistes over 30 competing to be a part of a new girl group. Other participants include Taiwanese singer Annie Yi, and mainland performers Regina Wan Qian and Kitty Zhang.
