Costco’s Chicken Coop Comes Together Quick—And it’s CHEEP!

I’m usually not surprised by anything Costco sells anymore. After they announced their own apartment complex, nothing really shocks me. That was, until I learned the giant retailer is selling chicken coops—yes, chicken coops.
According to a now viral clip by Laura Lamb of CostcoHotFinds, the retailer is selling the OverEZ Farmhouse Large Chicken Coop for a whopping $1,899.99. And look—it’s expensive, but before you raise your eyebrows at that price, it comes with a *ton* of handy features that make it a worthy investment.
The coop holds up to 15 chickens (!!) and includes a feeder, a waterer, and five nesting boxes. They’re super-sized too, measuring 74 inches long and 60 inches wide. Material-wise, it’s extremely durable thanks to its Amish craftsman construction (that's also UV-protected and food-safe, if I might add!) and moisture-resistant flooring. Plus, it boasts some cool features like a radiant barrier ceiling that keeps the coop cool on hot summer days and two large vents for easy airflow.
Oh, and did I mention the coop has a water runoff roof design? Yep, rainwater and any extra moisture will flow off the coop’s roof, keeping the nesting boxes nice and dry.
