Coco Martin wishes to film "Utol" remake
15 Jul - Kapamilya star Coco Martin admitted that he has always been a fan of Cesar Montano's 1996 action flick, "Utol", which is why he plans to have a remake of the movie one day.
As reported on ABS-CBN News, the actor, who had the chance to work with the aforementioned actor when the latter recently joined the cast of his long-running series, "Ang Probinsyano", stated that he had even approached Montano with the idea.
Martin said that he suggested to the actor that they should collaborate in the remake and produce it together as well.
However, the actor admitted that his plan is not just limited to "Utol". Martin also hopes to revive the action genre as a whole. With the commendable success of "Ang Probinsyano", he believes that there is still hope for the genre to flourish.
Meanwhile, Martin is thankful that Montano agreed to do the aforementioned series, and admitted that he was thrilled to be working with the actor.
