Chingmy Yau's daughter denies debut in Korea

18 May – Ayla Shum Yuet, daughter of '90s sexy siren Chingmy Yau, has recently dismissed rumours that she is making her debut in South Korea.

As reported on HK01, rumours of the 20-year-old's supposed Korean debut sparked earlier this year, when she was spotted attending several events in the country.

It was also further fuelled after photos of her hanging out with Super Junior's Kim Hee-Chul went viral online.

However, the model dismissed the rumour recently in an interview with a Chinese magazine.

"I am not planning to be a trainee. I still need to work hard on my studies," said Ayla, when asked about the rumour.

"I am currently doing some modelling, I do my homework, I paint once in a while, I cook and enjoy my time with my mum and dad and be Shum Chen's older sister. I hope to continue to share the little things in life," she added.
