Chinese version of Song Hye-kyo's "Full House" begins filming
9 Jul – It was reported that the Chinese version of the hit Korean drama "Full House" has recently started filming.
As reported on ET Today, the new series, which announced its production in February this year, recently had some of its pictures leaked online, showing lead actress Yang Chaoyue filming at an open field.
Meanwhile, it was reported that Timmy Xu will be playing the male lead, despite previous rumours mentioning Dylan Wang as a potential candidate. Timmy made a name for himself after starring in the web series "Addicted".
It was also revealed that the upcoming drama has changed its title from "Full House" to "Midsummer is Full of Hearts".
The original drama, starring Korean superstar Rain and actress Song Hye-kyo, revolves around an aspiring scriptwriter who enters into a marriage contract with a popular actor in order to win her house back, after it was sold to him by her friends through deception.
The drama was a great success in Asia following its release in 2004.
