Cheryl Yang marries non-showbiz boyfriend

20 Dec – Taiwanese actress Cheryl Yang recently announced that she is now a married woman.

As reported on ET Today, the actress, who revealed the good news on Facebook recently, shared that she has become Mrs Chan, after registering her marriage with her non-showbiz partner Ben in Neihu.

"I am Ms Yang no more. I like my new identity and treasure it very much. From the day we started dating until today, the thing I look most forward to is seeing you giving me the warmest smile and abundance of love every time. In these 1095 days, I am thankful for having you."

"Love has allowed us to support each other, take care of each other, and grow up together. I hope that we will continue living our life this way in the upcoming days, Mr. Chan," she added.

Cheryl also denied previous reports that Ben is a wealthy oil tycoon, saying that her husband is just a supplier for petroleum equipment.

She also denied that she is currently pregnant.

KUALA LUMPUR (Reuters) -A Malaysian court dismissed jailed former Prime Minister Najib Razak's legal bid to obtain a document that he said would allow him to serve his remaining prison sentence under house arrest. In a judicial review application filed on April 1, Najib said an "addendum order" issued by the former king had accompanied a pardons board's decision in February to halve his 12-year jail sentence for graft in the multibillion-dollar 1MDB scandal. Najib had sought for the court to compel the government to reply to or confirm the existence of the royal order, which he said would entitle him to serve the remainder of his term under house arrest, and to execute the order if it existed.
