Brian Burrell announces marriage to girlfriend of three years
25 May - Hong Kong-based American actor Brian Burrell (known to fans by his Chinese name, Bo Wai Kit) has recently tied the knot with his girlfriend, Celia.
As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who has worked in various TVB dramas including "Eye in the Sky" and "Daddy Dearest", uploaded a photo of his and Celia's hands, and the wedding bands worn on their finger, and wrote that they got married on 20 May. A day also celebrated by Chinese couples as an official lovers' day.
Brian revealed that he popped the question during last year's winter solstice, and received Celia's answer on Christmas Day.
On 9 May, Brian shared a funny video of him supposedly discussing wedding plans with Celia, where they imagine themselves as Beauty and the Beast.
The couple later returned to Brian's home in the United States to register their marriage on 20 May. They will be holding their reception in Hong Kong next month.
Prior to their marriage, Brian dated Celia, a make-up artist by profession, for three years.
