Singapore actors Christopher Lee, Fann Wong expecting first baby

They are the golden couple of Singapore’s entertainment industry, but it won’t be a family of two for Christopher Lee and Fann Wong for long.

The actress announced her pregnancy on her Weibo account on Tuesday, saying in Chinese that she and her husband, 42-year-old Lee, are expecting a Horse baby.

She added that they are "very excited about the new bundle of joy".

The 43-year-old also thanked everyone for their support, love and blessings, adding that the baby is healthy.

Lee echoed the couple’s excitement on his Weibo account and thanked their supporters.

But his biggest gratitude was for his wife – showering her with sweet words and emoticon ‘kisses’.

“My dear wife! It’s hard on you! Love you! Love baby,” said Lee.

Wong also shared the good news on her Instagram account.

“The Price of Peace” actor earlier announced the good news when he was attending an event in Taiwan.

He said that Wong is already three months pregnant, adding that he has waited for this for a long time.

News of Wong’s pregnancy has also sent Singapore’s social media into a frenzy with fans expressing shock and excitement.

The pair publicly admitted their relationship in 2005 though it’s widely believed that they started dating back in 2002.

They eventually tied the knot in 2009.
