Benny Chan makes TVB comeback with "Justice Sung Begins"
26 Jan - Benny Chan is making his TVB comeback with the new drama, "Justice Sung Begins".
The actor, who appeared alongside other cast members including Vincent Wong and Elaine Yiu at the promotional event of the drama, revealed that his last TVB series was 16 years ago, when he starred in "Legend of the Demigods" that was released in 2008.
As to whether he will continue to work with TVB again after this, Benny laughed and joked, "That would depend on the ratings. It doesn't matter where I film a drama, my heart has never left TVB."
He added, "Being able to work with old friends and new is like a gathering of old students. It feels familiar and cordial."
Benny also dismissed the idea that "Justice Sung Begins" is a "cannon fodder" drama, stating that comedy is evergreen and will last forever.
"The new drama has a funny plot about investigating crimes, and the content is very exciting. There is a chance for a sequel," he added.
