Becky Lee to marry non-showbiz fiance in July
16 May – TVB actress Becky Lee recently announced that she is set to marry her boyfriend of five years, Adrian So, this July.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress shared the good news on social media with photos from their pre-wedding shoot in Okinawa, captioning it with a passage from Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, which read, "Two are better than One, because they have a good reward for their work. And if one has a fall, the other will give him a hand..."
"Adrian and I have been praying together since the beginning and by His Grace, we found courage to move onto the next step in life together as a team, as life partners, and as a family! Thank you," she added.
Becky revealed that Adrian actually proposed two years ago, but that she decided to keep the engagement ring rather than wear it in public.
Asked why she decided to marry Adrian, the actress stated that the two of them shared a common ground.
"He meets all my expectations. I wanted someone who can be my "head", like in the Bible, "And the head of the woman is man"," she said.
As for now, Becky said that she has been busy preparing for her wedding, which will be held at a church.
