Athena Chu returns with a horror movie

29 Dec - Hong Kong actress Athena Chu is set to make her movie comeback through the upcoming horror film, "Goo Jat".

As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who hasn't been quite as active in showbiz since giving birth to daughter Debbie, shared that she decided to take up the offer of working in a horror movie due to its challenges.

"When I got the script, I knew I wanted to do it. I would be playing a character from the age of 20 to 60, which would be challenging for me," she said.

The actress stated that she was very much attracted to the character that was given to her, adding that she has no qualms working with a new talent like directors Derrick Tao and Mak Ho Bong.

Athena continued, "I hope I will be able to bring something new and fresh to the audience."
