Anne Ngasri saddens over Jaafar Onn's passing
5 Apr - Actress Anne Ngasri recently expressed sadness over not being able to be there to bid her final goodbye to Jaafar Onn, who passed away on 3 April.
The actress, who is currently doing her umrah in Mekah, took to Instagram to share several photos of her with Jaafar, whom she worked with in the long-running '90s show, "Cili Padi" back when she was still a child actress.
She wrote, "Allahuakbar. This was our last photo in the hospital. Innalillahiwainnailaihirajiun. Papa, you have left me. I grew up on the set with you and I think of you as my own father. You would buy me chocolates and gifts, and you treated me like your own child."
"I am still in Mekah when I receive this sad news. My hope of seeing you once I return didn't come true. God loves you more, and you have left us in this holy month," she added.
