Anne Heung: Timing is important for comeback
21 Feb – Former TVB actress Anne Heung has no qualms making a TVB comeback as long as the timing is right.
As reported on Mingpao, the former actress, who recently made a rare appearance as a guest on the music show, "Cantopop at 50", stated that TVB did offer her a project before, but that it came at the wrong time.
"In the first half of the year, I was busy doing commercials, and in the second half, I was focusing on a mainland drama. I want to make more money to buy more properties," she said.
Anne revealed that she had just moved back to Hong Kong last year, and would like to live a little more comfortable life.
The actress' last TVB series was the 2017 drama, "The Building Blocks of Life".
Speaking about her performance on "Cantopop at 50", Anne shared that she used to perform songs in her career, but rarely on television shows.
"I sang "Dream to Awakening", so I made sure to practice the song first before I even dared going on the show," she said.
