Amyra Rosli reminds parents to always be wary of their kids' ailments
6 Jun – Following her two kids' bout of HFMD (Hand Foot Mouth Disease), Amyra Rosli took to social media to remind other parents like her to always take their children's ailments seriously.
On 4 June, the actress posted a video of her two kids Anaqi and Aryssa's time in hospital, where they were warded for the disease, revealing that the two are now doing better.
"To parents, if your kid is sick, do not take it lightly, okay? Check if there're skin rashes or mouth sores. But do not panic, because the illness is usually not serious. But it is very contagious and can spread quickly while they're in school," she wrote.
Amyra stated that while the disease may clear up in seven to ten days and that people would usually take care of their kids at home, she decided to take them to the hospital to make it easier for her to look after them.
"Sick people need more care. But if I'm at home, I would be drying laundry, cleaning the shelves, cooking, cleaning the bathroom and whatnot. You know how mothers are," she added, lightheartedly.
