Amylea Azizan finally holds wedding reception with husband Ash

29 Jan - After announcing her marriage with Singaporean firefighter Mohammad Aqbar last November, Amylea Azizan finally held their wedding reception on 27 January.

The couple held their beautiful wedding at the Bizmilla Wedding Centre in Subang, which is owned by fellow "Akademi Fantasia" alumna, Mila Jirin.

Sharing her thoughts on her wedding, Amylea said that she has never expected to get married at the age of 37.

"Yes, I am a new bride, but I am an old bride. Most of my friends have a family now. I never thought that I would have a child of my own. But God united me with my husband, and so I will leave it all to fate [when it comes to children]," she said.

Speaking about her husband, nicknamed Ash, the singer said that she was attracted by his honesty and sincerity.

"I have met a lot of people throughout my 18 years of showbiz career... but I have never met someone who is as sincere as Ash. Everything that he said is from the heart. It's hard to find someone who loves me like my husband does," she said.

Aside from the wedding, which was attended by many celebrity friends like Uqasha Senrose, Fasha Sandha, Diana Danielle, and Dina Nadzir, Amylea also recently released her new single, "Pangeran", which she wrote for her husband.

In a judicial review application filed on April 1, Najib said an "addendum order" issued by the former king had accompanied a pardons board's decision in February to halve his 12-year jail sentence for graft in the multibillion-dollar 1MDB scandal. Najib had sought for the court to compel the government to reply to or confirm the existence of the royal order, which he said would entitle him to serve the remainder of his term under house arrest, and to execute the order if it existed.
