Alif Satar goes viral for sign language skill
23 Feb – After going viral for communicating with a fan with sign language, Alif Satar recently revealed that that has always been one of his skills.
The singer could be seen recently in a TikTok video of a user called @johnlemmonnn using sign language while interacting with a fan, with the user stating, "Alif Satar truly is one of a kind. A singer, composer, pianist, entrepreneur, ironman, and fluent in sign language."
"I've been friends for years with him, only now I know he can communicate with sign language."
Speaking about the skill, Alif said that he has the basic understanding since his parents were special education teachers.
"My father taught Malay while my mother taught English for hearing impaired students. My siblings and I have been learning sign language since we were little. In fact, I started learning it when I was four," he said.
