Alex Fong not bothered by movie's failure at the box office

3 May – Alex Fong was not at all bothered that his movie, "One Hundred Million Plan" did not do well at the box office in China.

As reported on Mingpao, the Hong Kong actor, who appeared at the promotional event for TVB's "Sinister Beings 2" recently, was asked about the movie making only RMB 1,000 after five days of release, saying that it was an old movie after all.

"It was shot in 2018 and has been screened in mainland China. And now it is available online. Many platforms are providing free viewing, so if it still makes money in theatres, it proves that some people really like going to theatres to watch the movie," he said.

Alex then added positively that the movie company still makes money no matter how small it is.

Asked if the movie has broken his record for having the lowest box office number, the actor, who has made numerous hit films, said, "I am not sure. I have received enough remuneration and delivered my work."
