Actor Daren Tan and wife announce that they're having a baby girl
Singaporean actor-singer Daren Tan and his wife, Malaysian doctor Nadia Lum, are having a baby girl.
The couple announced the gender of their baby after they held a “bumblebee-themed” gender reveal party with their family members in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia.
In an Instagram post uploaded on Sunday (2 September), Tan, 35, called the party “a blast” and said that it was a “truly blessed day for us and our newest addition”.
“We want to thank God for blessing us with our little girl that’s on the way. So far, everything is going fine in terms of the baby’s growth,” he wrote.
The star of local television series “Mata Mata” said that pregnancy had not been easy for his wife in the first trimester and added that she has done “really well” as a mom-to-be.
Tan called her a “superwoman” and an “inspiration” in the post.

Tan married Lum in November last year after they met through a mutual friend and got engaged after dating for almost two years.
The couple’s wedding was attended by local celebrities such as Hossan Leong, Aileen Tan, Dennis Chew, Cheryl Wee and Alaric Tay.
