Former actor Vincent Ng and wife welcome their first child
Former actor Vincent Ng and his 39-year-old wife have welcomed the arrival of their first child.
Speaking to local Chinese newspaper ShinMin Daily News, 43-year-old Ng said that the act of cutting his son’s umbilical cord made him cry. The boy, who weighs around 3kg, was delivered at Mount Elizabeth Hospital.
“It’s not easy for a woman to carry and give birth to a baby,” he added.
Ng also said that his son’s urine caught him off-guard while he was changing his diapers, despite the couple having attended infant care classes. “Both fatherhood and martial arts are things that require practice,” said Ng, who was recently appointed Wushu Director of Singapore National Wushu Federation.
Ng shared a photo of him kissing her wife’s pregnant belly on Instagram with the caption: “Thankful. Grateful. Blessed”.
