"Abang Long Fadil 3"made RM3 million on opening day
12 Sep – The third instalment of Syafiq Yusof's "Abang Long Fadil" has now earned RM3 million at the box office in just one day of screening.
The film, which was produced by Skop Productions and Astro Shaw, was released in 159 theatres in Malaysia, Brunei and Singapore since 8 September.
Speaking about the box office results, Syafiq, who is also the brother of "Mat Kilau" director Syamsul Yusof, stated, "Thank you to everyone who watched Abang Long Fadil 3 in the cinemas.
"I hope this film can meet the audience's taste and for those who haven't seen it, I suggest you invite your friends or family to spend time together."
The third film sees the titular character, played by Zizan Razak, attempting to bring down the evil conspiracy of Chow Han (played by Zizan's comedy partner Johan) while also being hunted by King Cobra (AC Mizal).
The film also co-stars Maya Karin, Elizabeth Tan, Shuib Sepahtu, and Ozlun Wati, among others
