Aaron Kwok will say yes to "Cold War 3"

12 Jul - Aaron Kwok has no qualms reprising his role as Police Commissioner Sean Lau again if there is any plan to film the third instalment of the hit thriller, "Cold War".

As reported on Oriental Daily, the actor, who is happy to learn that the movie had just surpassed Stephen Chow's "The Mermaid" as the record holder for the highest opening Chinese film ever in Hong Kong with HKD5.38 million, stated, "I am happy with the movie's box office performance, but the credit isn't mine alone to take. It was a team effort."

When asked if he would do a third film if the studio plans to do one, Aaron responded, "With such a good box office, of course I hope we will be able to make a third film. But it will depend on the bosses."

As to whether the movie will be holding an audience appreciation event soon, Aaron said that he will wait for the company to make the arrangements. However, the actor admitted that he may not be able to attend more events soon as he will have to focus on his upcoming concert.

Directed by Longman Leung and Sunny Luk, "Cold War 2" stars original cast members Aaron Kwok, Tony Leung kar Fai, Charlie Yeung, and Eddie Peng, and features new cast member, superstar Chow Yun Fat.
