‘9-1-1': Watch the 118 Attempt to Bring Down a Gigantic Tree (Exclusive Video)

Timber! In Monday night’s episode of “9-1-1” Season 6, the 118 get called in to rescue a birdwatcher who gets trapped under a fallen oak tree that snapped back up under the weight of its root system, which you can watch above in an exclusive preview clip shared with TheWrap.

Also in “Animal Instincts,” the season’s fourth episode, Chim (Kenneth Choi) gets more than he bargained for as an emergency responder when a drunk driver decides to take him on a ride in order to avoid police apprehension, forcing Buck (Oliver Stark) to spring into action on a bicycle in hopes of chasing him down. The episode also features an emotional storyline where Jennifer Love Hewitt’s Maddie helps rescue a young girl and her mother from an abusive relationship.

“9-1-1” Season 6 also stars Angela Bassett as Athena Grant-Nash, Peter Krause as Robert “Bobby” Nash, Aisha Hinds as Henrietta “Hen” Wilson, Ryan Guzman as Eddie Diaz, Corinne Massiah as May Grant and Gavin McHugh as Christopher Diaz. The series was created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Tim Minear.

New episodes air on Fox on Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

KUALA LUMPUR (Reuters) -A Malaysian court dismissed jailed former Prime Minister Najib Razak's legal bid to obtain a document that he said would allow him to serve his remaining prison sentence under house arrest. In a judicial review application filed on April 1, Najib said an "addendum order" issued by the former king had accompanied a pardons board's decision in February to halve his 12-year jail sentence for graft in the multibillion-dollar 1MDB scandal. Najib had sought for the court to compel the government to reply to or confirm the existence of the royal order, which he said would entitle him to serve the remainder of his term under house arrest, and to execute the order if it existed.
