Zizan Razak makes directorial debut with "Heistdilftri"
21 Apr – Zizan Razak is both excited and nervous about having his directorial debut finally releasing on television soon.
The comedian, who co-helmed the new telemovie, "Heistdilfitri" for ASTRO Ria with comedian Issey Fazlisham, stated that he has a lot more to learn when it comes to directing.
"As a new director, I was inspired by several great directors in this country, but yet, I think I still have a lot to learn to be able to reach their heights. However, I am sure that that can be achieved through hard work," he said.
Speaking of working with Issey, the actor said that the chemistry that they have enabled them to complete the project in such a short time.
"God willing, if there are more directing projects in the future, I will work with Issey again," he added.
The drama, which will be released on the second day of Eid, tells the story of three professional robbers who plan to find a family to celebrate Eid with them. The movie, which Zizan and Issey also star in the lead, co-stars Shiqin Kamal, Khir Rahman, Jihaa Sham, and Maria Farida.
